Unique piece, double intersecting projection
Year: 2004
Series: Cosmomania destined, Lightart
Phase: II Acentrism
Technique:the artwork is crafted from a unique assembly of two distinct glass discs, each 7.5 cm in diameter. Both surfaces are painted with mixed media and feature delicate glass inserts. Within the enclosed space between the two discs, a dynamic mixture of colored oils is contained. The installation includes a magnifying glass and utilizes two projectors, which are integral components of the artwork.
The two projectors are an integral part of the artwork.
Dimension: the artwork comes to life through the convergence of these two distinct projections. Each projector contributes a unique visual element, conceived to interact and generate a double, synergistic movement. The heat generated by the projectors causes the oils to bubble dynamically, resulting in a perpetually evolving visual display that ensures the work is never static.
Within this dual composition, the theme of impermanence is intricately juxtaposed with that of renewal, highlighting its essential role in human relationships. Observing the artwork is intended to evoke a state of deep relaxation.
