The artwork as gesture, relation and shared field

Immaterial and participatory projects for awareness and transformation

#ThankUturn

Gratitude in action

#ThankUturn was launched in 2015 as a Facebook-based dissemination project centred on the word “thank you”. The name combines thank you and U-turn: a change of direction, an effect of return and expansion that is activated when we recognise and value simple gestures of generosity, beauty, altruism and courtesy.

Within the ART OF THE SPIRIT, #ThankUturn is a practice of service: an immaterial and relational work that invites us to recognise the good already present in the world, amplify it and return it as a conscious gesture.

The project invites us to make visible spontaneous, anonymous, at times poetic actions that are increasingly necessary for the common good. Gestures that deserve to be admired, shared and amplified until they become customary.

Participating is simple: when scrolling through Facebook posts, you come across a gesture of quality, share it with the hashtag #ThankUturn

#imagoRevolution

Visual Alchemy

imagoRevolution was conceived as an artistic and immaterial project aimed at transforming the collective pathos generated by the unconscious use of images and imaginaries.

We live immersed in a visual and emotional overdose: every day we are exposed to representations, narratives and media fragments that act upon our gaze, our sensitivity and the shared imagination. The impact of an image can be worth more than a thousand words; precisely for this reason, its unconscious repetition can become habituation, bombardment and perceptual impoverishment.

imagoRevolution proposes a true re-bellion: a return to the beautiful, the good and the just — not as an escape from reality, but as an act of visual responsibility. Instead of silent resignation or calculated revenge, the project chooses the transformation of the image as an active gesture.

Assuming transformation as an operative principle — nothing is created, nothing is destroyed, everything is transformedimagoRevolution moves through the original image without erasing it, recodes its emotional charge and redirects it towards a new perceptual possibility.

The conVocation — an open call and a shared vocation — is open and free. call.

LALA LAND

Relational space for the practice of the ART OF THE SPIRIT

LALA LAND is the physical and virtual space in which Mya Lurgo’s artistic-spiritual research becomes practice, relationship and sharing.

Within the field of LALA LAND, tools connected to the ART OF THE SPIRIT and to its application in everyday life converge: Integral Alignment, meditative writing as a voluntary contact with the superconscious, creative visualisation, bodily and energetic practices, the Five Tibetan Rites, intuitive drawing and paths aimed at integrating the different vehicles of being — physical, emotional, mental and subtle.

IN PERSON | The project finds its “land” in Mya Lurgo’s atelier: a physical place of practice, listening and relationship. In the atelier, it is possible to book an individual orientation and practice session: 2 hours — CHF 180.–, materials included.

ONLINE | Alongside the atelier-based dimension, LALA LAND also offers La Quadra, a title that refers to the Italian expression fare la quadra: bringing the elements together, finding coherence and giving form to a practicable direction. The path is personalised and written, and takes place via email in Italian or English.

Personalised written path in 4 stages

La Quadra is an online written path developed within LALA LAND to frame a question, a transition or a project that needs to be clarified, realigned and transformed into a practicable direction.

The name refers to the Italian expression fare la quadra: bringing the elements together, finding coherence and giving form to what appears dispersed or unresolved. The four LLife, Light, Love, Laugh: life, light, love and joy — become guiding principles for restoring presence, clarity and vitality in everyday life.

The path takes place in writing, online via email, in Italian or English. After the first contact, 4 initial questions are sent in order to define the field of personal research. Based on the answers, the process unfolds through 4 written stages, with personalised feedback, observation guidelines and alignment practices.

The written responses arise from a process of listening, meditative writing and intuitive synthesis, oriented towards the emergence of a concrete, sustainable and practicable direction.

Basic path: 4 written stages — CHF 320.–
Indicative duration: 3–4 weeks
Format: email
Languages: Italian or English

In case of genuine financial difficulty, an accessible arrangement may be discussed.

HERE & NOW

You art the Now. You art the Space

HERE & NOW unfolds along two complementary strands: a social-media operA(c)tion and a Land Art sound installation.

In the forest, two trees enter into dialogue through a monumental curly bracket made of wood or dark metal that frames the path: a portal that does not enclose, but opens wide. This is not a geographical sanctuary, but any forest. The two trees become the image of every possible encounter, while sound invites us to linger until the distinction between the self and the external world begins to soften, opening onto an experience of resonance and continuity.

In the reels, the pair of curly brackets performs the same function: it does not define a boundary, but opens a space of possibility.

{ HERE YOU CAN… }

Within the brackets, YOU does not designate an isolated individual, but the consciousness that brings whatever it encounters into presence. The statement guiding the project — You art the Space. You art the Now. — deliberately merges “you are” with “art”, bringing being and creating together. YOU is the Space and the Now in which Life manifests as miraculum: a wondrous event that exceeds the ordinary predictability of what occurs.

HERE & NOW questions the places of ritual: where does the sacred arise, and what makes a place sacred? Deterritorialising the sacred does not mean denying the value of sanctuaries, temples or traditions, but freeing it from claims of possession and exclusive belonging. History shows how places intended to elevate the spirit can become territories of identity and sources of separation.

In dialogue with Byung-Chul Han’s reflections on the crisis of ritual, HERE & NOW attempts to establish a minimal ritual within social media itself: a place of scrolling and consumption becomes a space in which to pause. The ritual consists in opening a pair of brackets in the comments, completing it with a word, embodying it and allowing it to circulate. Writing { } interrupts the flow of scrolling and sets aside a portion of Space and Now for oneself and others:

{ HERE YOU CAN… PRAY, PLAY, REST, FORGIVE… }

The project proposes that no place is sacred “in itself”; rather, acts of presence make whatever they encounter sacred. The curly bracket thus becomes a prêt-à-porter temple: a portable perimeter that can be activated wherever a conscious presence exists. It is not a symbol to be passively contemplated, but a threshold to be crossed — in the forest as on the screen.

From this practice, a community may emerge that is founded not on the possession of territory, but on the recognition of the sacredness of every YOU.

A Time–Temple for listening.
A Time–Temple for welcoming.
A Time–Temple for coming together.

Inspired by the universal dimension of the Platonic Ideas of Goodness, Beauty and Justice, HERE & NOW brings the sacred home to human consciousness: a temple that is both Space and Time, Space and Now.

There are no happy homes, only people happy to be a home.
There are no happy sanctuaries, only listening minds.
There are no sacred causes, only hearts at peace.
