Post-it Art Series

In my research, visual poetry emerges as an amplified form of communication, since ordinary language can often limit understanding and empathy. When words encounter images, signs, space and rhythm, meaning is not merely read but also perceived. Acronyms lend themselves to conceptual condensation and linguistic play, while neologisms remove words from ordinary usage and open them to new possibilities of relation.

The Tavole Parolibere Series — a tribute to the Futurism that was draws inspiration from Filippo Tommaso Marinetti’s parole in libertà — words-in-freedom — in which the disruption of syntax and typographical order transforms language into visual and sonic matter.

The Post-it Art Series adopts the familiar adhesive note as a support, compositional module and ready-made: the ephemeral reminder becomes a sign, poetic fragment, image or installation. This research includes my participation in Camera 312 — A Memo for Pierre in 2007, a collective project conceived and curated by Ruggero Maggi as a tribute to Pierre Restany and presented in Venice as part of the 52nd Venice Biennale.

Inventing words means creating new sites of meaning and more vital spaces of encounter.
