Concept: in mathematics, Zero indicates the absence of a quantity, but it does not amount to non-existence. It is the neutral point from which positive and negative values are distinguished and new directions become possible.

On a symbolic level, Zero has a paradoxical nature: it is nothingness and, at the same time, possibility. It is the whole in potentiality, Life in its essential state, not yet determined by form but open to every manifestation. Its emptiness is not sterile: it is a generative void, the womb from which One may emerge as the first affirmation of presence.

Zero thus becomes a threshold between the determined and the indeterminate, between the finite and that which still escapes measure. It contains no specific form, yet holds the possibility of all forms; it imposes no direction, yet makes the emergence of direction possible.

To arrive at the zero point means returning to a condition prior to identifications, judgements and conditioned reactions. It does not mean erasing one’s history, but suspending its hold, so that what has been no longer determines entirely what we may become.

In the ART OF THE SPIRIT, Zero is a threshold of conscious receptivity. When the mind grows quiet and individual will ceases to impose a direction, consciousness opens again to the original impulse of Life.

The zero point is therefore neither a conclusion nor an annihilation, but an inner resetting: a fertile space in which possibility is renewed. It is the silence that precedes form, the void that precedes the gesture, the condition in which a new beginning may manifest.
