Concept: Sometimes I feel like a motherless child  is a song from the spiritual tradition. I assume we have all supposed, on any given day, children of a lesser god, left to our own devices. Just in that bottomless darkness, you happen to catch a glow… then you feel a warmth descend in your chest. That sudden warmth is the smile of One who never foresaw that we – Humanity – would be forever in disarray.
