PERFORMANCE

Between 2003 and 2004, I presented my first performances at Artville Bistrot in Lugano, a one-year experimental project, before withdrawing to write about Acentrism.

The first phase: learning through the body, 2003 – 2004

I painted in front of an audience daily, sometimes using my body.

I learned to recognise the energy brought by the spectators — that osmotic instant born from the interpenetration and contamination between artist and audience.

Regularly engaging in action painting before a casual audience taught me to stabilise the energetic field around me and find an “alignment”. It also exhausted my inner dialogue.

That silence was tremendous and lasted a long time: the panic of having nothing to say or give.
In this psycho-physical turmoil, I sold some works, gave others away, burned some, and had others stolen. I did not document this phase: I lived it, with the strength of an inner art therapy.

LIVING FULCRUM | Objective Art. Experiment, 2020

An experiment on the objective perception of art, inspired by the teachings of the Armenian master George Ivanovich Gurdjieff.

Seven sessions were held from February 14 to 16, 2020, at the Elisarion Cultural Centre and Museum in Minusio, Switzerland.
The 3-meter-diameter painting with an integrated LED light was site-specific in 33 hours of focused painting, preceded by two years of inner preparation.
The audience was invited to experience a vision free from preconceptions and mechanical interpretations, moving toward what Gurdjieff defined as objective art: an art in which the artist consciously transmits precise ideas and emotions, eliciting non-accidental impressions.

The experiment was developed with dancer Giovanna Galimberti (eurhythmy) and vocalist Nadia Radici (a cappella), who created the required atmosphere.

B.L.U – Be Like U, 2023

Interactive performance with the audience, held on April 29, 2023, at Nellimya Arthouse, Switzerland. Six participants — one for each vertex of the hexagon — symbolically expressed the desire to reveal their natural talents through a marble and a touch of colour, co-creating the artwork Starlight.

Intent: to shed light on one’s unexpressed potential, create synergies to reveal talents, and feel held within the creative gesture.

FIAT_trait d’union, 2025

A performance inspired by Rosicrucian studies and Rudolf Steiner’s Anthroposophy, exploring the journey of consciousness through matter: from the mineral realm to the blood — where the I dwells — and finally to the formation of the body of light.

Within the human body lives the memory of stone, while in the blood pulses the I, the germ of transformation.
The path opens through the etheric body — from matter to light, death to the continuity of consciousness.

An invitation to participate in the process of etherization — with the bones, with the blood, with the awakening of the I.
