Withholding Love Produces Potentiality Everywhere.

Before bestowing love, it is necessary to know how to preserve it, retain it, and nourish one’s psycho-physical well-being first and foremost. The stopper with the chain is a jewel of poor art, designed to bounce on the heart and remind us to cultivate the necessary self-love to the point of experiencing an overflowing fullness before generously and indiscriminately lavishing attention, energy, affection, and time… Retaining self-love prevents depletion.

The installation of several painted caps, each with its chain, symbolises the umbilical cord… life-giving life. Each cap contains a message covered in gold leaf, sealed by a small protective glass circle.
