The project On the Wings of Freedom was born from a profound intercontinental correspondence that began on January 5, 2022. The initiative, promoted by poet Chiara Mari (www.chiarammari.com // Instagram: @vitartchiara) through an invitation to an artistic research residency at Nellimya Arthouse, wove an ideal thread between Lausanne, Brazil—the poet’s beloved land—and Switzerland’s Malcantone region.
After three years of creative gestation, the encounter occurred on May 16, 2025.
Chiara Mari’s residency culminated in a poetic and performative workshop of the same title, inspired by her poetry collection (available directly from the author: +41 78 696 47 24).
The poet invited the audience on an intimate journey through language, where the Word becomes an embodied experience, a vital breath flowing through body and spirit, a bridge between the visible and the invisible, between intention and form.
Inspired by the poet’s verses and by the preview of her upcoming album—now available on Spotify and YouTube (Sulle ali della libertà, Chiara Mari / Vitor Carvalho & Alba Dobón Chic)—the audience was carried into a playful, transformative space where poetry takes flight, incarnates, and reshapes itself according to each participant’s sensitivity.
This poetic, musical, and “voc-AL” experience culminated in a collective poem, a moment of union, co-creation, and transcendence—both human and artistic.

The Word: a cre-active act between anthroposophy and the butterfly effect
The performance FIAT_trait d’union by Mya Lurgo is a participatory action exploring the Word as a cre-active act—a force capable of permeating all levels of existence: from the mineral world to the bones, from blood to consciousness, and finally to the inner light.
“…Your word, the strongest and truest one — what is it?
Give it voice. Exhale the primordial, essential and dynamic words like a fundamental note.”
The performance draws inspiration both from the butterfly effect—the power of a small gesture to generate transformative waves throughout a system—and from the anthroposophical vision, in which the Human Being is seen as an alchemical athanor, called to evolve the transient self toward the realization of the Tree of Life: an imperishable existence, capable of regenerating itself through the frequency of conscious will.
